LaVey Satanists Have A Desperate Need For Attention

        In my experience the typical people claiming to be a Satanist come off as a pretentious goofballs with a desperate need for attention. They especially seem to take great pleasure in assuring us they don’t actually worship the Devil. When someone talks about them worshiping Lucifer they love to correct people and say “No REAL satanist worships Satan! He does not even exist! Just like your God does not exist! Instead Satan is a symbol of adversary to Christianity! They express how they are “in the know” and everyone else is so ignorant. They remind me the typical Wiccan witches who love to express to everyone that the Pentagram they use is not upside down like the Satanic pentagram is which is known as the “Sigil of Baphomet” (The Church of Satan uses it as their official symbol). Baphomet is the name of a goat deity known as a “Sabbatic Goat.” The term “baphomet” originally just meant an occultic deity certain “Knights Templar” members were accused of worshiping. The goat idol became associated with the occult and the idea of Devil worship popularized it in the mid-1800’s. only in 1966 did the Church of Satan use the goat deity with the pentagram to associate it with Satanism.

Typical people wanting to associate with LaVey Satanism seem to relish the confusion or accusations of literal Satan worship thrown at them by the media and average people who do not know what the Church of Satan believes. These people love to “enlighten” such ignorant people that they truly do not worship the Devil but are actually Atheists and follow a theatrical religion. What is funny is most of these people are new to Satanism or really do not follow what the Church of Satan typically promotes. Even so, the Church of Satan itself comes off as an organization of elitists who think they are more profound, intelligent, deep, and important than everybody else. The official website of the church has a whole rant against “internet Satanists” that is pretty long. I find it amusing. It is basically saying “Hey guys we are the REAL Satanists! You are fakes!! You poseurs!!! ” Yes, they spelled it the pretentious way of spelling poser.

If an organization does not believe in any God or supernatural beings, not even Satan, but they enjoy using Christian ideas such as “a Satan” and “666” and other silly theatrical things that actually come from the Bible, then they are simply just riding off the waves of Christianity in order to draw attention to themselves and their ideas. It is awfully silly and unnecessary and just immature. They are hypocritical in their criticism of the so called “poseurs” who run website and pretend to be Satanic and are trying too hard. They in turn do the exact same thing but at a different degree.

There are on the other hand Devil worshipers but they are not a part of the Church of Satan and may or may not be a part of some organization. Many call themselves “Theistic Satanists” who worship Satan as a being literally as God. The Church of Satan claims there is no such thing as a true theistic satanist as the concepts of “theistic” and “Satanism” are a contradiction. They are only a contradiction if you accept their term of what Satanism is. They are elitists who think they are really original, when in  fact their philosophy has always existed before them throughout history when man decides to elevate himself above God and refuse to believe God exists. Such people throughout history did not need to draw a name from a fallen angel. So why do Satanists claim there are rules such as only expressing “wrath within reason” against someone, and do not do illegal things etc. So for the LaVeyists out there, who is the grand arbitrator of true morality, or what is right and what is wrong? How far is too far and why? If there is no God who decides what is and is not okay to indulge in?

While there are devil worshiping “theistic satanists” out there who seem to think Lavay Satanists are weak and the true posers since they do not worship Satan literally in defiance of God. The Devil worshipers accept that God exists but think they can destroy God or defeat Him, and that Satan is actually strong and frees them. Such people are involved in occult magic and demon possession such as groups like Temple of Set (offshoot from Church of Satan by former members including Anton LaVey’s daughter who was a member) and the Temple of the Black Light from Norway composed of many black metal musicians who practice an esoteric Satan worship. At least such “Satanic, Christian-hating orders” have the guts to fully worship Satan, while the LaVeyists pretend and use the name to show off.

LaVeyists really are not their own gods as they claim, but simply follow dead prophet named Anton LaVey and his rules and ideas and whatever silly high priest (who literally looks like a goofball) is in office, who also wears all black and has a silly beard and looks like a nerd + beatnik (pre-hipster), yet mocks those who take up Satanism with scary clothes and demonic imagery. Yet the original church of Satan itself uses demonic imagery. It is all nonsense. It is a hierarchy of posers from the wannabe Church of Satan members to the actual members themselves who are also posers on another level (they are the elitists). Their Satanic ideas are absurd. “There is no god, you are your own god and you do whatever you want! Sin all the time! Oh wait don not sin too much and please do it within reason. We don’t want to get in trouble or anything…”

Church of Satan members are simply atheists who enjoy sin who want to feel special and get their kicks out of reactions and shock value. This is my opinion.

Whether or not the Church of Satan or any offshoots like The First Church of Satan actually worship the devil and have been deceiving the public has not been proven but there are speculations. Even so, if they are simply silly theatrical Satanists who are just atheists playing “devil” stuff for pretend does not matter since they are still godless, unsaved, sinners who are salves to Satan on earth and their sins whether they want to believe it or not. They all need to repent of their sins and follow God. Their pride and arrogance keeps them from the humility necessary to repent of sin and accept God for who He is, that He is loving and the standard of what is true and good, that humans need to fear Him and submit to Him and quit their sins, that Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved and truly given freedom. Indulging in sin leads to death.

God’s Mercy Is The Only Thing That Makes Christians Different

        Today I was listening to Grace To You which is a radio bible teaching ministry by pastor John MacArthur broadcast on weekdays. At the end of the lesson he mentioned that “the only thing that makes you different is God’s mercy.” This is a profound statement. A Christian is no different than any godless sinner. We have the same sinful desires within us, that is to say, we are in our flesh and thus have our sin nature intact while alive on earth. We have not left to receive glorified bodies yet. So often a Christian who thinks he is currently “living holy” or “living pure” realizes he is just as sinful as someone else because he gave into temptation. This crushes the self righteousness within us.

        All Christians sin and sometimes go off into “sin binges” when the sin nature comes back to the surface in a time of weakness. These binges might last for a time. All we can do is use God’s enabled ability to work for righteousness to quit the sin, repent, and keep on serving God. Hopefully we do not go off the deep end, guilt is always there but do not let it eat away at you and just move forward. This is why Christian accountability and fellowship is important so we can have strength in numbers and not be alone to give into temptation, and if we do give in we have brothers and sisters to set us straight and encourage us to quit and live clean.

        The Christian cannot claim he is special or holy or a good person above others. But we can proclaim God’s truth and stand up for what is true and refute what is false. Just because we sin, and sometimes go off in bad ways (but always come back), does not mean our Gospel is invalid or has thus been disqualified. The truth remains. God has forgiven us and we are clean and not guilty since Christ took the punishment already. So just go back to it, and remember the cross and ask for God’s power to over come sin, and that you will quit your sinful struggle so you can better serve God. If you are high and mighty and think you are a super spiritual person and worthy of some seminary degree and pastorship, check yourself. You are nothing special and it is only God’s mercy, the fact he does not express his wrath onto you because of your sin, that makes you any different from the typical godless sinner. Otherwise you might fall into sin and be disqualified for your ministry position.

The Other Side Of The River, Book Review

        The Other Side of the River by Kevin Reeves, published by Light House Trails is an in depth look at the experiences Reeves had defending biblical truth against the Charismatic excesses of his local church where he was an elder serving for more than a decade. The book is written with various stories of what he went through in a church affiliated with The River Movement, which is a Latter Rain influenced association of hyper-charismatic churches. Reeves was first a die-hard Charismatic who had left Catholicism and New Age religion beforehand. Over time the Holy Spirit led him into biblical truth which made his question the religion he was following with all of its extreme behaviors with prophecies, tongues speaking, slain in the spirit, visions, miracle claims and more. I recommend this book to anyone who is going through a tough time with Charismatics, or has recently left the hyper-Charismatic heresy.

        I remember in my own life dealing personally with the hyper-charismatic evil that plagues certain church groups i was involved with as well as my time at Biola University where such behavior is rampant on campus, even creating mini-cult leader types who graduate to become missionaries of satanic doctrines later to spread this around to 3rd world countries. But nowhere did i get so deep with it, nor was I ever a charismatic myself because I have always fought against it. Reeves has a powerful testimony Christians should check out. I do think he is a little soft on some areas such as assuming a guy is loving or a wonderful person despite the fact he is teaching falsely. I believe he is just emotional about past friendships. In reality after reading this book I assume the River is a total cult and his church was a total cult and his pastors were cult leaders. He sort of admits this by stating that the behaviors and tactics they used to deny the biblical truth he presented are the same cults use. Anyway, check the book out on Lighthouse Trails Publishing!         Atheists see the news, watch the videos, understand the murder and rampant death Islamofacism has brought on the world and is committing right now by beheading journalists and other people who do not agree with their Caliphate, yet use this as evidence for why they think Christianity (labeled “religion”) is bad for the world. When Islamic terrorists in Al-Shabob shoot up a mall in Kenya, Boku Haram steals 200 young girls in Nigeria, The Islamic State creates a Caliphate and beheads hundreds of people, shooting even more in the head one after another, crucifying Christians and other religions, all Atheists can say is, “Religion is evil! It is religion that is the problem! Christianity is also bad!” They cannot simply say, “WOW! What the heck is up with the Quaran?” and “Islamic terrorists have got to be eradicated.” They have to exclaim their disdain that Christianity is also the problem and guilty of atrocities. They do this by stating religion in general is evil.

        It is so apparent that the Atheist mindset is so delusional, so misguided, so biased and hateful, and so ignorantly stupid that they must make sure they have bashed Christianity for every act of Muslim violence as well; and not only the one religion of Islam. Even when only one religion is committing terror acts worldwide, and right now causing chaos in the middle east, they blind themselves to this obvious reality. Today ISIL/ISIS just released a 2nd journalist beheading video of a U.S. journalist. Yet Atheists all over the internet keep saying, “Yes Islam is a problem but we have to make sure that you know Christianity is also bad.” No it is not! Christians are not murdering thousands of people and plotting world domination! Christians have never suicide bombed anyone and do not plan to. No other religions (Buddhists, Mormons, Catholics, Hindus, Janists, Bahais, Wiccans, New Agers, or Jews) are trying to murder the entire world unless it conforms to their strict beliefs of a religious state. Only Islam is! If you want to stop the problem, stop the actual problem! When one person brings into question the statements and beliefs in the Quaran about such slaughter the Atheist has to chime in and say, “Well as long as you admit the Bible is also evil and false!” You have to be absolutely insane to see Islamic violence and then get angry at the Bible for it.

        Only an idiot would see people in group (A) attacking everyone and killing people in groups (B-Z), but walk up to group (B) only and blaming them as a whole in general for the attacking and killing only group (A) did. So basically to stop Islamic fascism one must first attack Christianity. Yeah real logical…

        This is bogus and I am calling out all Atheists to stop the nonsense, stop the hate, stop the flat out delusional lies against Christianity by painting it on equal terms as Islam. You may despise religion but be truthful! The news is reporting Islamic terrorism, not Christian terrorism. Even your once beloved Richard Dawkin’s understands this! Yet, you disown him, due to him not being politically correct and following the liberal narrative on the issue.

        Atheists are only proving their focused hatred for Jesus Christ and anything Christian. They wish Christians were the ones murdering, oh yes they do! They are so upset that it is not Christians doing the killings because they cannot flat out attack only Christians. Now they have to make it more neutral and say “religion in general is bad!” Because none will actually say “Islam is evil and should be wiped off the earth and destroyed and never return as a world religion.” No they will not, they will only say that about Christianity. They hate God, the God they claim does not even exist. They hate God and only want to attack Him and no other false religions. I am so sick and tired of this Atheist delusional, double standard about what you are allowed to trash talk.

        Christianity is not trying murder people and cut off heads, in fact Christians are the ones getting their heads off, but atheists do not care about that. They only care that “religion” is attacked, but they really mean Christianity when they say the term “religion.” Atheists are being completely dishonest and their lack of logic is so apparent when they argue this way. They need to stop the idiocy and start admitting the truth.
