Yep Biola, It Was Me, I Wrote Light House Trails

Yep Biola, It Was Me, I Wrote Light House Trails

It is 2018. 10 years after I wrote a letter to Lighthouse Trails about Biola Univesity promoting occult spirituality and my serious concern that the campus is not actually a Christian campus. I will tell you I was afraid to write to Light House Trails because I KNEW I would be serious persecuted if I was found out. Many people demanded whoever wrote Light House Trails should step forward and leave Biola.
Here is the Light House Trails Research article about my letter I TOLD them to publish:
Biola University Student Reports on Contemplative Chapel Services – Warns Parents to Avoid Biola

In light of the fact Dr. Barry Corey, the president of Biola has gone on a Catholic Sabbatical I am only affirmed 10 years later. I graduated from Biola with a degree in Intercultural Studies and minor is TESOL and Bible. I am glad I have a college educated, but moreso, the Lord educated me in spiritual warfare. No, not the spiritual warfare of the mystical crazy concepts of the Charismatics and Pentecostals and what was promoted heavily on campus as valid. But intellectual and deep spiritual warfare.

How am I doing 10 years later? I have had my ups and downs. A lot of post traumati stress and more from my spiritual experiences on campus and after campus. I will leave you will an article to check out on how Biola is embracing the heretical. When I graduated I shook Dr. Barry Corey’s hand. It sickens me to know that Biola which was once a historic, biblical, evangelical university that promoted the TRUE Gospel of the Bible, the Word of God has been so corrupted with Satanic deception. Not only their New Age, Occult spirituality, but the rampant sexual immorality and drunkenness of about 90% of the students there (my own opinion and observations). There are demons there and many kids will have problems if they are true Christians who want the truth of God to be promoted. I a not ashamed and there is NOTHING Biola or anyone associated with them can do to me now. Nothing. Freedom of speech, America, and my right. It feels great to openly admit how terrible Biola is for real Christians to go to. I still wear my Biola hoody and t-shirts to show my pride in my own education and to show that I made it out without selling out to heresy.

I am in no way perfect and I am a sinner in need of God’s grace through Jesus Christ, the ONLY way to salvation. I am someone who is only saved through repentance and my faith not by works and not by spiritual formation or contemplating myself. There seemed to be no desire to correct sin on campus or be told we need to live holy. I remember the “Sex and the Soul” conference that seemed to create sexual tension on campus and promote lust in the hearts of people through a deceptive message about “biblical sex” which was not biblical at all. Anyway, enough of this. Check out Light House Trails report on the embrace of Catholic Mysticism.

Biola University – Going . . . Going . . . Gone As President Takes Sabbatical At Catholic Contemplative Monastery

I am unashamed in my stance!

Filipino American Pastor Accepts Homosexuality As Correct Because His Son Is Gay

Filipino American Pastor Accepts Homosexuality As Correct Because His Son Is Gay

Filipino American pastor, Danny Cortez of The New Heart Community Church of La Mirada, California has recently made a statement that he accepts homosexuality as perfectly okay and not sinful because his son recently came out as being gay. His church is a Southern Baptist (SBC member) church. Once he found out his son was gay he had to then change his previous stance that homosexuality is sinful in order to make his life more comfortable.

New Heart church is 1 mile away from the evangelical Biola University and several Biola students would attend there. Most of their church body consists of FilAm and other Asian Americans but also has various ethnic groups. While I attended Biola I even visited that church because one of my Filipina American friends brought me. She did her internship with them. When I visited I realized this church promoted emergent spirituality or contemplative spirituality. They promoted meditation and centering prayer and spiritual formation. The sermon I attended was given by Matthew Hooper who is the Associate Dean of Students at Biola. His sermon was not really even a sermon but him simply reading as many verses as he could find that seem to talk about praying or meditating alone. All he did was scripture twist and try to say those verses meant we should do contemplative mystical prayer. Biola University heavily promotes this idea and has their own Spiritual Formation department. Since this church was involved in such activities it is no wonder to me they are so liberal (while claiming to be conservative, which is bogus) and would thus became apostate and accept sin as moral. It is only a matter of time in my opinion before Biola University itself embraces homosexuality. After all, they are actually doing dialogue with a group of previous homosexual Biola students who keep current homosexual students secret and want to change Biola’s stance on homosexuality. They call themselves the Biola Queer Underground. I am wondering if Matthew Hooper, who in 2013 rejected and had kicked out a former Biola student who was protesting abortion, will quit New Heart Church or keep attending showing that he is also gay affirming, thus Biola allowing gay affirming people to work and teach at their “conservative, evangelical Christian university.”

New Heart Community Church also previously tried to start a ministry called “My refuge House” in the Philippines to help women involved in prostitution, or sex trafficking which turned out to be a sham and failure on their part due to their serious lack of discernment. Basically, they set up a shop owned by an actual brothel owner who pretended to be a Christian so he could get money from their rent while at the same time promoted and actively participated in running his brothel. Their ministry plan also had absolutely no intention to convert these women to Christianity and give them the Gospel. It was simply charity work to give them a place to stay for a bit, and not even get them out of prostitution fully. I know this because I was there when their church member gave the Filipino club a presentation and openly admitted this to us when I asked further questions. They realized they were not supposed to be so open about the situation after they already told me everything.

With this type of attitude about the gospel it is no wonder the pastor’s son is gay and the pastor is so weak he cannot uphold biblical faith and will thus, become apostate in order to please his son and make life easier for him and also keep his job by condemning whom he calls “traditionalists” in his church who then left. You don’t have to openly condemn people to condemn them, you can do it by attitude and guilt tripping, and that is basically what it seems he did by his letter and how he claimed “traditional” people left his church because of his new change in doctrine.

More and more so called “conservative” churches are becoming apostate and embracing perversity and false doctrines. It is the sign of the times when people are put in leadership positions because of popularity and a desire to appeal to the world so they do not have to feel outcast from everyone that all these churches are becoming apostate. They start with liberal ideas, then embrace mysticism and contemplative spirituality (spiritual formation) then embrace sin and even promote it as fine. Why is homosexuality more acceptable than a straight man who views porn or has sex all the time with random girls? Or will porn addiction also be called okay too? How far is it going to go in the church? According to the Bible pretty far before the end. The 7 churches in Revelation are mentioned with various issues and the ones doing wrong will be punished severely. This pastor is a leader and is going to lead people astray. He will face more severe judgment because of his apostasy as James 3:1 states.

More and more men in church are becoming gay; it is a trend it seems. This is most likely because of the popular effeminate church culture that has been created within the last 2 decades and its overemphasis on feelings and emotions. Church is not popular for typical men because of the way they present everything. It’s touchy feely and weak. Everything from the metrosexual style of dress, the weak and effeminate music, and the postmodern art culture are invading the church and thriving on “christian” university and college campuses which transfers into individual churches within leadership. The church has become effeminate. Lots of people will now say, “Church is gay. I don’t wanna go.”

Dr. Barry Corey President Of Biola Says Christians Should Go Barefoot

Dr. Barry Corey President Of Biola Says Christians Should Go Barefoot

Recently, Dr. Barry Corey the 8th President of Biola University did an interview where he states Christians should go barefoot as servants and not wear steel toed boots and kick out heresy from his brother.  The article can be found at the Christian Post. Some of his quotes to me are suspect:
“I want Biola to be a community of barefoot followers of Jesus, where we learn to take off our shoes and understand that leadership and servanthood are about unlacing our shoes when God calls us, not putting on steel-toed boots to kick the heresy out of our brother or Jesus into our culture. Going barefoot is the position Jesus’ disciples took as he washed their feet, teaching them about being servants and telling them to go and do likewise.”
and
” I’m certainly focused on taking Biola University to the next level, but I’m also starting a new book about having a “receivable faith.” Based on Matthew 10:40, I believe to engage today’s culture we have to make sure our message is “receivable.” The truth can’t work if no one is listening. So if the Christian community is going to regain the trust and listening ear of secular culture, we need to share our faith in a way that makes people eager to hear the good news.”
I found this article from Biola’s Facebook page where I stated a response in the comments section (excuse any misspellings or typos please):
“I am pretty sure God does not want us to be barefoot. Ephesians 6:13-17 says, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ”        Apparently even steel toed boots are not strong enough. God wants us to wear armored shoes. The gospel of peace does not mean we are peace with the enemy, it means the gospel that BRINGS peace with God and turns away His wrath.Dr. Corey forget to write the previous verse before his father’s quote:
Matthew 10:”34-37
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”Obviously, the Bible teaches people will hate the message and it will create enemies. We arent supposed to change the message or present it in a very liberal way. Luke 9:5 suggests God expects people to reject us sometimes “And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”
If this is so I do not believe the Bible teaches us to change the gospel to fit the culture and be nice to them, but to simply express the Gospel and what the bible teaches. Poeple will either accept or reject. The way Dr. Corey speaks it seems that he is saying we should appeal to the world and impress them. But that sounds more like 2 Timothy 4:2-5 ” preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”Walking up to people and touching their face, or hugging muslims and saying “I love you” does nothing unless you are actually expressing the bible’s teachings including rebuking, correcting etc. The bible is pretty clear on what it teaches.

If you are for something, you are also against other things. You cannot be FOR ONE TRUTH but then not be against what is FALSE. It makes no sense and is illogical.

This is my problem with how Biola behaves and how they pride themselves as “conservative” but they are actually coming off as liberal and trying hard to impress secularites instead of just expressing the gospel truth. Sometimes we should put on steel toe boots and kick out heresy. There is always a time for that as well as a time for embracing.

I am a graduate of Biola from 2009 and I am stating this. I am sure this comment will get deleted because I do not stand in awe of the Dr. Corey President of Biola, and I will also get blocked but at least I said it. I agree with the guy above me who said he is not sure why there needs to be a dichotomy here. If you are going to publicly state something for all Christians to adehere to you should expect to be criticized or questioned. Simply deleting or ignoring people like me in order to look better PR wise wont stop this (in case you do delete this). Biola is simply trying to redefine what conservative means.”

If it gets deletes so be it. But at least I said what needed to be said.
